I think it's valuable to provide, but no one else was doing it. This isn't proprietary information either, like all the data teams keep to themselves. It's historical data that should be shared. I believe I have seen the spreadsheet in question, and while it cites Pollack it evidently is the product of extensive research by one or more other individuals.
